Today, 10 March 2004, saw the release of Cerebus Issue 300, the final installment of the adventures of a Barbarian Aardvark. I’ve been reading this bastard for sixteen years now. I know J at least was with it even before that since I started by reading his books, but I don’t know if he’s continued with it. Over the course of 25 years we’ve witnessed author Dave Sim transform from a drunk, smoking womanizer to a misogynist religious extremist. Inertia has kept me with it, and I’m glad it’s finally over. Good riddance.
