Going down and coming up

Two interesting ones here. First up is airlinemeals.net. Here you can view photos of and read descriptions of various meals served on airlines around the world. Can someone please look at the Air Canada 016 meal and tell me what the heck it is?

Then, if that doesn’t sit quite right on your stomach, take a look at the museum of airsickness bags with pictures of all sorts of vintage and current bags (no grossness here). Makes me wish I’d snagged more bags off flights when I was a kid, to have something to contribute.

Any collectors?

Just out of curiosity, do we have any collectors out there? Now as you might have guessed, I am a star wars freak. I have one room totally devoted to star wars figures, vehicles, posters, anything. My wife can’t stand it but at least I’m easy to buy for!!

I used to collect comics but then they started soaring up to two bucks a pop! So that ended my comic days of buying twenty a month.

Give a shout people and tell what your obsessions are! Post some pixs!

Anatomically Correct Action Figures?

Some time ago, the Gunters discussed the Monty Python and the Holy Grail action figures. Our discussions centered mostly around trying to identify the advertised 20 points of articulation.

Well, now Sideshow Toy has announced two new figures, the Rude Frenchman and the Bridgekeeper. The reason that I bring this up (other than the fact that Monty Python figures are cool and everyone should buy them) is that these new figures are advertised with 30 points of articulation! Just where are these other points of articulation? I keep trying to work it out in my head, and I can’t figure out a configuration with more than 24. I don’t really want to know what requires the other 6!

As an aside, I’ve purchased the original Five Knights set. Can you believe that now they expect me to buy the special Muddy Edition Knights as well?
